I explore how these incredibly unique, blingy earphones sound, and how their titanium dome dynamic drivers deliver a fantastic sense of feel and impact in the music. Both models offer a V-shaped tuning, excellent clarity, and great articulation, but I found a significant difference in refinement. The VSA Max has a treble that is a little too bright and splashy for my taste, but the SPA Silver Snake is a much more controlled and smoother listen with a surprisingly open soundstage. I even compare the $430 SPA to the excellent Tipsy M5 IEMs to see where it stands in the mid-range market. If you love dynamic bass and an energetic sound, one of these is definitely worth a look!
