We had some issues with our nutrition plan when we first started out with goats, and our goats suffered as a result. I’m convinced improving our minerals and supplements made the biggest difference in improving the health of our goats, even more so than the changes we made with our hay and feed. This video covers the free choice minerals we give and the supplements we use. Minerals can be tricky to administer. Supplements can be a pain. But our experience is that they are a necessity.
