Project: Restoring Rusty Dies (Again!) - Part 1 Krud Kutter for Rust
I did this type of rusty die restoration a few months ago on some Lee dies. However, I kind of caught it midway and thought one day I'd document the process from start to finish. As luck would have it, I recently came across a very rusty set of RCBS dies. Great name and quality product that clearly needed some TLC. This short series will cover the entire process of me bringing these great dies back to life and looking new again. This segment is the "unboxing" to show how rusty and weathered the dies had become. No idea how old they are are I was unable to see the original price, but no doubt they've seen better days. I take them apart and give them a crud cutter bath.
