Pflegereform 2026 – wer jetzt mehr zahlen soll
The new long-term care reform could be expensive for many people: Childless individuals may have to pay higher contributions, high earners could be burdened more by a higher contribution assessment ceiling – and relief for people in nursing homes could come later. But another point is particularly important: Will it be more difficult to obtain a care level rating in the future? In this video, I explain what is being discussed under the current plans for long-term care insurance, who could be particularly affected, and what those in need of care and their relatives should pay attention to now. Among other things, it covers: higher long-term care contributions for childless individuals the contribution assessment ceiling in long-term care insurance potential additional costs for high earners rising costs in nursing homes delayed relief from out-of-pocket expenses possible changes to the classification into care levels tips for relatives and those in need of care Important: The long-term care reform has not yet been finalized. It is currently only a draft of the reform plans. Nevertheless, those affected should follow the issue closely – because long-term care is already barely affordable for many families.
