How To Pull A Horses Mane With Ease And Pain Free | I don't know about you but I don't believe in "pulling" a horses mane although I love the look of it. Pulling a horses mane is part of your horse care if you are a dressage rider and compete as you will want your mane to be on the shorter side and not too thick. This makes it easier to plait and manage. I "pull" my horse's mane using this method as you don't actually "pull" on the mane so don't cause your horse any discomfort. You do end up with the look and function of a pulled mane though so both my horse and I are happy.
