This road takes us through the mountains, tunnels, and fjords of Northern Norway, offering views that are considered some of the most beautiful in all of Scandinavia. The route descends from the high mountains straight down to the Ofotfjord, while alongside it runs the famous Ofotbanen railway, home to some of the world’s heaviest iron ore trains. Narvik is known as the gateway to the Arctic, and that’s exactly where today’s journey takes us.
