Arrma Felony 8S: Swapped Perfect Pass for Scorched RC Titanium... Then This Happened at 107 MPH

After pushing hard in our previous sessions, we decided to pull out our trusted Perfect Pass carbon fiber V1 drive shafts and swap them for the brand-new Scorched RC Trident titanium center drive shafts. We kept the massive TP 5680 1440KV motor and the center differential in the mix to see how this titanium drivetrain would handle the load. We took the Arrma Felony 8S out for its very first run on the new setup, but disaster struck early. At just 107.08 MPH, the rear center drive shaft completely popped out under power. The front Trident bearing casing broke apart, and by the time the car rolled back to a stop, our brand-new, expensive rear center drive shaft was completely gone. To be clear, I am not sponsored by Perfect Pass or Scorched RC. I mix, match, and test different parts with my own two hands to find out what actually works. Honestly, it's frustrating because our Perfect Pass carbon fiber shafts held up perfectly under much higher speeds and extreme demands, while the titanium didn't survive run one. The center differential setup is proving to be incredibly punishing on these shafts. Back to the bench to figure out our next move and get this drivetrain locked down tight! Thanks for rolling with the Matrix crew!
