Is Glazing The Secret To Better Figure Painting?

I painted two identical 3D printed WWII figures using completely different approaches to find out whether glazing can actually make you a better figure and miniature painter, or if it's just another overhyped technique. In this video, I paint two identical 3D printed WWII figures using two completely different approaches. One gets my usual tabletop workflow of basecoats, washes, and dry brushing. The other is painted almost entirely with glazes using Night Shift's method. By the end, we'll compare the results and answer a bigger question: Is glazing really the key to improving your figure painting skills?
