At the Loki Schmidt House in Hamburg, Canal-Control Rohrsanierung GmbH carried out a trenchless rehabilitation of the wastewater system. The goal was to ensure the long-term reliability of the drainage, preserve the value of the historic property, and protect the soil and groundwater. The former residence of Helmut and Loki Schmidt is a site of significant cultural and historical value. Trenchless pipe rehabilitation allowed the existing pipes to be repaired from the inside, without extensive excavation and with minimal disruption to the building, grounds, and garden. The work included cleaning, CCTV inspection, milling, and the Mr. Pipe® Liner cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining method. The rehabilitation was carried out on pipes with nominal diameters up to DN 150 and is designed for long-term use for at least another 50 years.
