My Melody Faux Cake Box| Hello Kitty Crafts

Hello Friends! Today we’re going to make a supercute My Melody Faux Cake Jewelry Box to celebrate My Melody’s birthday and her 50th Anniversary! You can store all your jewelry or treasures in this adorable box, or give it as a gift. It looks just like a real cake, but you can keep it forever! Grab your supplies and let’s get started! Subscribe to the channel for new weekly videos: http://bit.ly/HelloKittyFriends Materials Needed Scissors Glue 6 in x 6 in heart shaped box Spackling Pink, yellow, and white air dry clay Pink acrylic paint Decorative Pearls Paint brush Black marker Piping tips and bag (01:20) Step 1: Paint the heart box with pink paint. Let dry completely. (01:48) Step 2: Add spackling to the piping bag. Pipe all around the top and bottom of the heart box. Let dry completely. Pipe more spackling onto the middle opening of the heart box. (03:10) Step 3: Add pearls onto the cake by pressing them into the still wet spackling. (03:22) Step 4: Make a My Melody cake topper out of the air dry clay. Draw on her eyes and mouth with black marker. Let the topper dry before frosting it onto the jewelry box. Add more pearls to the top of the box. Now you have a beautiful My Melody jewelry box!
