This parody is first and foremost a tribute to bistros, and especially to those that are holding on in our small rural villages. After the gradual disappearance of local shops, they have often become the last true meeting places. Around the bar, generations mingle, discussions become lively, and exchanges are sincere and friendly. They talk about everything, they solve the world's problems... and often, they find solutions to everything! In fact, I wonder... isn't there a link between the decline of our country and the disappearance of these precious bistros? So, what are we waiting for to save them?
