The Halten Cross V4 is an all-wheel drive electric scooter with a 52V 18Ah battery, two hub motors, 10-inch tubeless wheels, a wide deck, drum brakes, side lights, and a claimed speed of up to 55 km/h. In this video, I show the model's main features: appearance, controls, display, lights, suspension, brakes, folding mechanism, and road handling. I also test the scooter's acceleration and top speed, and describe how it handles with a rider weighing just over 100 kg. I managed to travel 40 km without recharging. This was normal use with acceleration, stops, bike paths, and a load of over 100 kg, not a fuel-efficient ride in ideal conditions. How to access the Halten Cross V4 service menu: 1. Turn on the scooter. 2. Simultaneously press and hold the power button and horn button for about 3 seconds. 3. Once the code entry appears, set the value to 95. 4. The throttle trigger increases the number, and the brake lever decreases it. 5. A short press of the power button advances the entry to the next digit. 6. When the display shows 95, hold the power button again for a few seconds. This will open the P parameters. The most important items are: P00 – display brightness. P01 – starting method: standing or push-off. P02 – cruise control. P07, P08, P09 – speed limit for the first, second, and third modes. P19 – throttle response. The higher the value, the more responsive the scooter starts. P20 – electronic brake force. A low value provides gentle deceleration, while a high value makes braking more abrupt. The fast speed limit of 25 km/h is enabled separately: stop the scooter, quickly press the power button three times, and then press either brake lever. The limit is disabled with the same combination.
