A man who collects the world’s most precious thangka paintings
Thangka is a Tibetan word which roughly translates as “recorded message”. A thangka is a scroll painting on a religious theme presented on colored satin. In 2006, China listed the thangka as part of the nation’s cultural heritage. ------------------------- SOCIAL MEDIA: Facebook: CGTN Inheritors ( / cgtn.inheritors ) Instagram: @cgtn_inheritors ( / cgtn_inheritors ) Twitter: @cgtn_inheritors ( / cgtn_inheritors ) #Thangka #唐卡 #Tibet #intangibleculturalheritage
