9 - BARI: SOL HUNI KUÏ - Dua Busë e Netë - SOL

(This video is narrated in the Hatxã Kuï language of the Huni Kuï people. You can activate Portuguese subtitles through the video settings menu.) Who is Bari? “The Sun lived enchanted and sacred, leaning against the Earth very low. He spoke with humans and with nature, with the moon, with the earth, with fire.” - Dua Busë In the ninth episode of the Sun cycle, Dua Busë narrates the story of the Sun and its relationship with the Huni Kuï people since ancient times, through songs and the learning of medicinal plants. Dua Busë and Netë also sing to the Sun and talk about the transmission of this knowledge to each generation. The Sun cycle consists of 17 narratives published every Wednesday on our YouTube channel, in the Hatxã Kuï, Tukano, Nheengatu, Maxakali, Guarani or Portuguese languages. Presenting different perspectives on the Sun, the cycle intertwines indigenous memories and knowledge with perspectives from astronomy, philosophy, astrology, literature, and other areas of knowledge.
