Stellplatz Hiller in Waxweiler - auch für Zelte und Wohnwagen - direkt an der Prüm

Not far from the Luxembourg border, in the sleepy town of Waxweiler, the Hiller RV park has been open since the middle of last year. On a former campsite that also fell victim to the 2021 flood disaster, all campers are welcome, and tents and caravans are also welcome, provided they have a toilet. The site impresses with its proximity to nature, with the Prüm River forming a beautiful backdrop on one side, and the view of untouched Eifel nature complementing the beautiful view on the other. The small village of Waxweiler is 200 meters away and offers excellent infrastructure. A bakery, an Edeka supermarket, a promenade, restaurants, and an outdoor pool, as well as the Prüm cycle path, mountain bike trails, and beautiful hiking trails, all pass directly by this site. The site is unmarked, partly on meadows, partly shaded under trees—everyone can find their own space. For inclement weather, there are also some gravel pitches. Water and waste disposal facilities are available, as well as several electrical outlets. It's not uncommon for people to barbecue together on the large rotisserie grill and enjoy a cozy get-together. During our stay, we had people from five different nations gather for dinner. It was an atmosphere that is indescribable. The incredible warmth with which everyone is welcomed here, and each guest is personally greeted by our host couple, is also beyond words. If you look closely, you'll discover many beautiful decorative elements that immediately convey the impression that a camper with passion and expertise is running this campsite, a rare find.
