This Battle will CHANGE the way you see GROUCHY
The Battle of Wavre, fought on the same day, about 12 miles to the east of Waterloo, was a major engagement between the French Right Column under Marshal Grouchy and the Prussian III Corps under the command of General Johann von Thielmann. The delay caused by this battle prevented Marshal Grouchy from reinforcing Napoleon at Waterloo. But what caused this delay? Why was Grouchy unable to march towards the sound of the guns? We have all covered it in this documentary!
