Opening an old TAOS GOLD MINE
Gold Mine revivals are worth it these days with the price of gold so high. This mine shut down in 1980 when gold was $800/ounce. It wasn't cost effective.There are 150 claims in Taos County but most aren't active. Maybe this video will help people become inspired to create their own story. This is a story of a man and his mine. I did not go into the extensive permit process in this production. . . Stand by for part two as we get farther into the mine and find rooms full of old equipment. The name and location of this mine has been omitted purposely.
