Philips AWB080 "Spin Drain" 1978: Programme C - Colourfast Cotton 60ºC

Always had a soft spot for these 1970s-1980s Philips machines. Famous for their iconic "spin-drain", where the machine advances into spin full of water, to aid in balancing the load (not always successful as shown here haha). They feature a very nice sounding Permanent-Magnet or "Permag" motor and a very variable spin, from 800rpm right down to distribution speed. Running Programme C "Colourfast Cotton 60ºC" with a load of my whites, using an old 2000s Ariel tablet and Downy (US) conditioner. For an 800rpm spin, it dried pretty well! Thank you and enjoy :)
