These are the top 10 Eurovision Songs from Portugal ranked by percentage of achievable points. Eurovision has used some wildly different voting systems over the years. Most are easily comparable, some are not quite. So please keep this in mind: Because of the voting system from 1971 to 1973, the entries from these years are better off in percentage terms compared to other years. Also, songs from 1957 to 1970 and 1974 have generally worse percentage values when compared to other years. How did I calculate? I looked for every song how many points it could have made at max in the semi and in the grand final. Then I put this maximal score in relation to the actual received points in semi and grand final. When a song didn't participate in the semi (e.g. Big 5) I obviously considered the points from the grand final only. #ESC #Eurovision #Portugal
