In this video I review a 2014 Buick Encore with the 1.4L Ecotec LUV engine. The Chevy Trax from this era uses the exact same engine. In 2016, Buick slipped in an upgrade. the LE2 1.4L direct-injected aluminum engine. This was found ONLY in the Sport Touring trim for the 2016 model year. The 2016 Sport Touring trim with the LE2 uses a lighter aluminum block, and makes 153 horsepower, but also adds more complexity and cost when things go wrong. That will be for another video.
