The architect has always believed in designing spaces that have a distinct character and design language and which respond to their surroundings; Aarti Villas is the perfect example of just that. It is designed to have the characteristics of royalty in a contemporary way while providing the basics of privacy, light, and ventilation. The architect took up the challenge of designing a very contemporary house for the owners belonging to a royal family. Even though the site was in a dense commercial neighborhood, he was able to achieve privacy in the house through a large stone screen that envelops the house. This ever-changing stone screen is what adds life to the interiors with its play of light and shadow.
