FIRST SOLO SUMMIT WILD CAMP | Brutal Winds & Winter Conditions This was my first ever solo wild camp, and I couldn’t have picked a tougher introduction. Heading up to the summit alone, I was met with brutal winds, freezing temperatures, and constantly changing conditions. What was meant to be a challenging camp quickly turned into a real test — from pitching the tent in high winds to getting through the night on my own in full winter conditions. No comfort, no backup, no experience to fall back on — just learning as I went and dealing with whatever the mountain threw at me.
