Dance Doings (1933)

Titles read: "Dance doings, by GASTON & ANDREE the world-famous Adagio Dancers." Pathe Studio, London. Various shots of Adagio Dancers Gaston and Andree performing in the studio. She wears an extremely skimpy sparkling bikini with bellybutton coverage and he wears reinforced pants (probably lined with carpet). They do lots of balancing moves with Gaston lifting Andree over his head - she is very supple! The final move shows Gaston turning round and round with Andree's ankles around his neck - she is in a vaguely horizontal position. Note: the music is rather more jaunty than your usual Adagio Dance stuff - seems to have been added after shooting. Duplicate exists in Turns Can 15 - see separate record for details.
