Nelson's Candies: Unwrapped! A documentary film by Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School

In December of 2011, nine Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School students decided to find out what really goes on behind the scenes in a candy store. This documentary reveals what they learned as they interviewed Doug Nelson, third-generation candy maker and proprietor of Nelson's Candies in Wilton, NH. Doug "spilled the beans" (or corn syrup as the case may be) while he demonstrated the making of "Salt Water Kisses" (Nelson's special Salt Water Taffy). Shot and edited by the students, this piece reveals that while making candy is a sweet deal, it still takes hard work and determination to be successful! Running time 14:10 (mm:ss).
