Speaker: Prof. Giuseppe Turchetti is PhD, Fulbright Scholar, Full Professor in Economics and Management of Healthcare, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA), Pisa, Italy @Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna Prof. Giuseppe Turchetti received his PhD in Economics and Management from the SSSA. He spent several years for research as a Visiting Professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA), at the Center for the Management of Medical Technology of the Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago, USA) and at the Kellogg School of Management of the Northwestern University (Chicago, USA). He is chief of the Health Economics Group of Endocas, a Center of Excellence on Minimally invasive surgery and innovation in medical technology based in the University Hospital in Pisa. His main research interests are health economics and economic evaluation of healthcare technologies; management of healthcare organizations; management of ICT innovation in the healthcare field.
