Strategic Leadership Skills for the Palliative Care or Geriatric Program Leader

The Center to Advance Palliative Care's (CAPC) Leadership Training for Palliative Care and Geriatrics Professionals provides palliative care and geriatrics professionals at various stages of their leadership journey with practical training, tools, and insights to help learners grow into the leaders our patients urgently need. In this video, course directors Tom Gualtieri-Reed, MBA, and Lynn Hill Spragens, MBA introduce Strategic Leadership Skills for the Palliative Care or Geriatric Program Leader. This unit helps learners build essential leadership skills through core principles, practical frameworks, and guidance in self-assessment, communication, and team building for health care leaders. CAPC members can take these courses and earn continuing education credits (for physicians, nurses, social workers, and case managers). Free ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits are also available for physicians.
