KINO+ on Tour! We were at CINEHAMBURG. A new industry event that took place for the first time in Hamburg from July 7th to 10th, 2026, with over 1,500 participants at the CCH exhibition center. Essentially like GAMESCOM, but for people from the film industry and without the general public. To understand what that means in detail and to experience what it's actually like, Antje, André, and Schröck strolled through the trade fair and gathered some impressions. Among other things, we sat in vibrating seats, sampled various sweets, and talked to the people responsible for cinema seating. We also had the opportunity to speak with Christine Berg, Chairwoman of HDF KINO, and Peter Schauerte, Managing Director of AllScreens, the German Association of Film Distributors and Audiovisual Media, who organized the trade fair. We also attended a few panels, discovered the popcorn alternatives offered by Ährenbrüder, and even had a brief chat with Steven Gätjen.
