Fixing noisy Terraform plans on Azure App Gateway

A shared Application Gateway is a common pattern in Azure for reducing costs, but it comes with a challenge: noisy Terraform plans caused by architectural limitations in the service. AzAPI is now the provider of choice for Azure Verified Modules. It's a mature, capable provider that brings day-zero resource coverage and a simpler architecture. Its simpler surface exposes some sharp edges, but combining this with AVM means the module consumer never has to think about them. In this talk, Stu will cover why AVM has made this move, how recent fixes in AzAPI tame the plan noise for Application Gateway, and walk through the next iteration of these fixes as upstream patches to AVM, exclusive to #GlobalAzure!
