DOCUMENTARY - KIDS IN THE JUVENILE SYSTEM: One Family's 21 Year Journey (2023 Re-release & updates)
In this video from our documentary archives, we look back at the story of the Pitcock family and their surreal journey ensnared in America's juvenile justice system. Narrated by Lester Holt, this one hour film traces the night it all began when police arrived at their door, then follows all juvenile court hearings and family drama as their case made its way through the system. Finally, we see the family two years later to find out how things ultimately turned out, and learn 21 years later what the final chapter in this story reveals. UPDATE: Brent Pitcock was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in 2022 in the stabbing death of a man in Indianapolis. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison. Amber passed away from unknown causes in 2022. She was 35 years old.
