Mmmmm glitter, beautiful shiny sparkly glitter! This is an excellent little project for kids of all ages and it makes for some really beautiful ornaments, which are perfect as gifts. This could be a really fun activity for holiday break for kids - get them involved in picking pinecones outside (and better yet, make it a competition to find the very best pinecones out there...I have been known to have kids search for pinecones for a fair amount of time...) and then come in for some hot cocoa, cookies, and glittering up some pinecones.
