The Village Has Changed 《山村变了样》by Zeng Jiaqing Performed by Katie Hess, on erhu, Gao Hong, on pipa Each year at our Spring Concert, we feature senior solo performances. This year, all four senior soloists began their musical journeys without any prior experience playing Chinese instruments. Katie Hess started learning the erhu after arriving at Carleton and has been a dedicated member of the Chinese Music Ensemble for the past four years. Congratulations on your graduation!
