De-Identify to Re-Identify: NLP Quantum Linguistics for Expanding Limiting Identity This episode explains how “identity-level” language (especially “I am X”) compresses a person’s complexity into a rigid label that the nervous system treats as fact, freezing experience across time and space and assigning certainty through hidden complex equivalences (e.g., “Because I feel X, that means I’m Y”). It teaches the de-identification to re-identification pattern for coaches, therapists, and influencers: elicit the identification, pace and feedback, expand boundaries with layered questions, elicit a new stabilising identifier, use recursive expansion to prevent new rigidity, and anchor the new identity with sensory evidence.
