Housing First - a way towards ending homelessness | Juha Kaakinen | TEDxBratislava

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Juha Kaakinen describes the main features of the Housing First concept. He also tries to challenge the prevailing prejudices about homeless people. Juha is a CEO in a non-profit Y-Foundation providing homes for 6500 former homeless people in Finland. He studied literature, philosophy and sociology at the University of Helsinki. Juha takes badminton seriously, reads and admires Danish poetry and enjoys ancient Finnish smoke sauna.
