Keith Whitley - Someone New

Keith’s producer, Blake Mevis, found the song when Whitley was in California in February 1987 during a month and a half tour. Someone New was written by Skip Ewing. This is another song that was supposed to be released on a new album in late September or early October. Unfortunately, this album was shelved, and therefore other songs that were recorded did not get released. This unreleased album eventually morphed into Don't Close Your Eyes, released in 1988.
