NJ Transit HD 60fps EXCLUSIVE: Riding Behind PL42AC Double Header 4005 & 4019 on RVL Train 5445

Shot 6/1/16. I finally got a chance to ride on Raritan Valley Line train 5445 behind PL42ACs 4005 & 4019. They were running HEP from lead unit 4005, so trail unit 4019's EMD 16-710G3B-T1 was low-idling (~269-350 RPM). Such a beautiful and rare sound from an in-revenue PL42AC. Normally what you hear is the prime mover in HEP idle (~450-600 RPM). The ride portion of the clip is recorded between Dunellen and Somerville stations; maximum speed achieved is 79 mph between Bridgewater and Somerville as indicated by my speed box gps speedometer app. Enjoy the prime mover sounds and Alstom AC traction motor (6FXA4057) / IGBT inverter sounds.
