On a visité une école où les cellulaires sont interdits

François Legault's government announced a plan to strengthen civic-mindedness and respect in Quebec schools. Quebec Minister of Education Bernard Drainville presented the broad outlines of this plan, the key measure of which is a ban on cell phones on all school grounds, including during breaks and lunch, starting next year. What all students in Quebec are about to experience, those at a Longueuil school have been experiencing for two years now. Collège Charles-Lemoyne has been banning cell phones on its grounds all day since 2023. Olivier Bachand met with the students and staff at this school to assess the impact of this measure.
