Mozart KV 220 Agnus Dei Alto

Alto Choir Practice: “Agnus Dei” from “Missa Brevis in C major” , KV 220 /196b , Mass No. 9, composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1775 in Salzburg. This mass uses a Haydn-like cyclical construction by recalling the Kyrie theme in the Agnus Dei at the end of the mass . The 'Dona nobis pacem' of the "Agnus Dei" picks up the thematic material of the Kyrie, thus formally rounding off the whole work. Latin: Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis!
