The Studio works to enhance Chattanooga’s quality of life by educating the community about, advocating for, and facilitating excellent urban design. Jarrett Walker is a guru in the world of transit system design. Named one of Planetizen's Top 100 Most Influential Urbanists, his human-centered approach to this basic need has helped him to plant a flag in the ever-changing landscape of public transit. He delivered this free public lecture as part of Chattanooga Design Studio's quarterly speaker series.
