He made his film debut as the title character Willie in the 1973 blaxploitation film Willie Dynamite and acted in projects like Sanford and Son, Law & Order, The Wire, Last Resort and more. Most people may know Roscoe best for playing the role of the human character Gordon Robinson on Sesame Street since 1974.
