A Model for Elevating Teachers’ Voices
Teachers know where education policy breaks down. Few have a formal path to shape what comes next, but Bob Sparks built one. As Dean of Operations at JCM Early College High and co-lead of the Jackson-Madison County School System Educator Fellowship, Bob Sparks designed a program that equips classroom teachers with policy knowledge, advocacy skills, and direct lines to state policymakers. In this webinar, he'll be walking us through the fellowship model live, including the framework his team uses to develop educators as leaders and practical tips for engaging policymakers and community stakeholders.
