Acatenango was one of the most physical enduring activities I've done so fatR and I filmed everything about it. Extremely physically demanding but 100% worth it. Acatenango is a volcano located in Guatemala, near the city of Antigua. It stands at about 3,976 meters (13,045 feet) and is part of a larger volcanic complex, which also includes the more active Volcán de Fuego. The hike up Acatenango is popular among adventurers and trekkers. It typically takes about 5-7 hours to reach the summit, and many hikers choose to camp near the top to catch the sunrise or watch Fuego's eruptions at night.
