In fact, popular perception seems to say quite the opposite. We live in a society based on science and technology, where a large part of the great advances that have brought us to where we are today (such as industrial revolutions) occurred thanks to a better understanding of physics. Without Quantum Mechanics, we wouldn't have smartphones with all the storage and processing power we find so easily today. Without General Relativity, we wouldn't have GPS. In fact, just considering the practical importance of electromagnetism, for example, is reason enough to understand that modern societies depend on this knowledge daily, even if they don't realize it. For all this and more, learning physics is extremely relevant. In this video, we'll give tips on how to learn physics (mainly for high school and college entrance exams), so that you too can marvel at this fascinating science. Our guest for this chat is Igor Zenker. He has a degree in Molecular Sciences from USP, has been teaching for over 5 years in pre-university courses, and recorded a series on Cosmology here on the channel.
