COCHABAMBA: Mercado, Cristo da Concórdia, La Cancha a feira interminável e Ônibus Noturno pra La Paz

After a whole night on the bus between Santa Cruz and Cochabamba — with little sleep and lots of jostling — we arrived in one of Bolivia's most vibrant cities and immediately set off to explore everything. First, we left our backpacks at the hotel and went for a walk through the streets of the city center. In the Cochabamba market, we got lost among endless aisles full of fruits, vegetables, spices, cosmetics, small restaurants, and even a daycare center. We had breakfast right there, the local way: bread, cakes, papaya, corn, and strong coffee. Then we went to the main square, went into the church, filmed every detail, had tea in a cute city café, and had lunch at the market. At night, we napped and woke up to Cochabamba illuminated and alive — with music, comedy, religious services, and street food competing with each other. We tried Peruvian dessert, I chose my dinner from the stalls, and we went back to the hotel. The next morning, we climbed up to Cristo de la Concordia, overlooking the entire city with snow-capped mountains in the background. And then we tackled the famous Cancha market, which is said to be one of the largest in Latin America. It literally sold everything: fruits, meats, live animals, flowers, cosmetics, fireworks, showers, car parts, drinks… it seemed like an endless labyrinth.
