Have you been led to believe that motherhood is oppression and that starting a family is "missing out on life"? In this live stream, we analyze how motherhood has gone, in just a few decades, from a blessing to a burden, and why this shift is not accidental: it stems from a culture of "me" that redefines values, identity, and purpose, with profound consequences for women, men, and children. From a Christian (and also anthropological) perspective, we discuss social engineering, economics, entertainment, and social media: how the message is instilled that your worth lies in your career, your image, or your likes; how young people are pushed to fear family; and how a sexualization sold as "empowerment" is normalized while motherhood is devalued.
