I stayed at Hakone Kowakien Tenyu, a popular hot spring inn in Hakone. All rooms have an open-air hot spring bath, and meals include an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a luxurious selection of seafood, including salmon roe, crab, and spiny lobster. You can even get free vending machine ice cream called Seventeen Ice Cream. When I went, I was also able to use Yunessun (pool and spa) for free. As a perk of staying at the inn, I was also able to use the Tenyu Lounge, which has a wide selection of sweets and drinks, for free, which I was very happy about.
