This time, I DIYed the perfect kitchen counter for my home for just ¥20,000! Measuring 1500mm x 950mm x 900mm, it's designed to function as a work surface, primarily for baking bread and pastries, and also as a counter table from the other side. This was my first time using woodworking CAD software to design it, and I purchased the lumber at a hardware store. It was a process chock-full of manual labor and ingenuity, cutting the wood with a sliding circular saw and attaching the tabletop using pocket-hole joints. I used cafe board, and the finish is as beautiful as a single piece of wood. I also applied multiple coats of Watco oil and urethane varnish to increase water resistance and durability! I created drawers and shelves for storing bread and pastry molds, highlighting my meticulous design.
