We have had rabbits for several years and have been using the cages with pans under them to catch the rabbit poop and pee. They can get very nasty and it is the least favorite part of having rabbits. I have been trying to figure out something that will work for us and finally came up with this solution. It is not perfect but it is a thousand percent better than what we were previously using. This may not be for everyone but I am pleased with it. UPDATE: After using the system for several months there are changes I would make.. I would hang the cages over the system, the poop gets on the rails and you have to constantly clean it off to keep flies and gnats down. Also make the system at least 6 inches wider than your cages so when they poop in the corner it goes into the system rather than on the wood. I would also put the linoleum on the top rail of the system to protect my wood.
