Batman : the long halloween - Le chef d'œuvre de Tim Sale ?
When I first discovered BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, I wasn't sure I'd like it. I didn't know the writer, and the artist's style was very different from what I was reading at the time (namely, Image Comics). Yet, something about the artwork of the late Tim Sale immediately captivated me, and in this video, I'll try to explain what it was by analyzing the first black and white issue of this cult maxi-series. And don't forget that the STYLE COMICS adventure also includes a free e-fanzine that you can read online!
