Homestay days in Mexico. I want to live a simple life and craft everyday.
I spent four days at a homestay in Oaxaca, Mexico, in a town called Teotitlán del Valle. These four days were rich with experience and felt like a real life reflection of my dream to live a simple life filled with craft and art. From soaking up the beauty of local markets to learning how to weave tapetes, to shopping from local artisans, to watching beeswax candles and red clay pottery be made...this was an experience that I will cherish for years and years to come and one that reflected so many simple truths back at me. I am so happy to be sharing this experience, and my reflections with you through this video.
