Sierra Railway 3: Return of the Movie Train

Built in 1891, the men in the Rogers Locomotive & Machine Works had no clue how this simple 4-6-0 Ten-wheeler bound for the Prescott & Arizona Central Railway would become an icon the world over. After her career on the P&AC ended with the railroad's bankruptcy in 1893, the engine found its new home on the Sierra Railway of Jamestown, CA, where she began operating in 1897 with the Railway's opening. The engine began her now legendary movie career in 1920 in "The Terror" starring Tom Mix. With over 100 TV and movie appearances, the engine has become the "Movie Queen". Watch as the No. 3, dressed in her classic movie style diamond stack and box-headlight, with wood load in the tender, leads the wooden passenger and freight mixed trains along the Sierra in March 2026 on a Dynamo Productions photo charter.
